A few pictures from the last few weeks.

These pictures are from the koi pond tucked away among Penn's science buildings.  This is probably my favorite place west of the Schuylkill, and, sadly, I only found out about it a week before I left Philadelphia.  Thanks to my good friends Joey and Jaime for sharing it with me.

A packet of seaweed we cooked with my parents in the Adirondacks.  "Hot boil the cooking oil a pot, put into scallion and ginger, fry them until their flavor is get off..."

Today, we put together the tent as a dry run.  It was pretty basic.  Here's Jenna holding one of the sleeping bags.

The basic itinerary: In the early afternoon tomorrow we leave for Portland, Maine, where we'll be staying with our friend Lee for a couple of nights.  We're camping two nights in the space between here and Quebec City.  After the first night, we're planning a big hike - the Crocker/South Crocker/Reddington loop - that will take all day.  We'll camp again, either at the trailhead or not too far from it, and then proceed to Couch Surfing in Quebec.  We're leaving on the 18th, driving to Montreal.
